Each summer, the tiny town of Nauvoo, Illinois becomes a bustling destination for tourists visiting historic sites of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The annual British and Nauvoo pageants there retell stories of Saints seeking refuge and reinforcing their faith. Created to portray authentic colors, typography, and patriotic spirits of the time, the pageant identities are seen on everything from colossal stage banners to tiny souvenirs. And not just once, but over and over.
